“The open road is where adventure meets spontaneity. It's the windows rolled down the stereo turned up - it's about freedom. This is Roadtrip Americana.”
The open road is where adventure meets spontaneity. It’s about endless stretches of two-lane blacktops and a brand new feeling around every corner. It’s where the stereo is turned up, the windows are rolled down and songs that don’t have you playing drums on the steering wheel are left by the wayside. Lucie Tiger is the embodiment of all of the above, as she blazes a trail down the highway with her “Road Trip Americana” style of country. She disregards conventions for a Muscle Shoals rhythm-rooted practicality that pulls together the classic and the contemporary. She’s surprising the industry one song at a time, so it’s time to buckle up and tag along for the ride.
2020 is set to be a bumper year - hot on the heels of her 2019 USA Tour through the famed Americana Music Triangle, Lucie will be releasing her upcoming EP. Lucie recorded the entire EP at FAME Recording Studios in the landmark music town of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, with legendary session musicians Justin Holder, Bob Wray and Will McFarlane, and engineered by the Grammy-nominated John Gifford III and mastered by the Grammy-nominated Don Srygley. Following the release, Lucie Tiger will be back in the States hitting Nashville, Muscle Shoals, Memphis, Clarksdale and more for her 2020 tour.
With upcoming tour dates - including her 2020 USA Tour - and the release of her new EP, 2020 is set to be Lucie Tiger’s biggest year to date. And, in case anyone was wondering - ‘Tiger’ really is her middle name.
